name: Lynxklaw gender: female clan: DemonDex age: sub-adult size: a little over average traits: calm most of the time, but rather aggressive sometimes. loyal to her clan. doesn't like attention much.
when Lynxklaw was born everyone thought she was dead. she did not move and there was something wrong with her spine, her tail was long, and so was her claws. her mother left her outside the clans territory. one day later an old psyrap female, who didn't belong to any clans found her. (she started breathing not long after her mother left her) the old female had no children of her own so she took care of the little one. as Lynxclaw grew older her spine and tail became stronger than other psyraps, the tail became like a third hand. the old female died just a few years after she adopted Lynxklaw. alone, she started searching for the old female, she died when she was hunting food to Lynxklaw. she didn't find her, but she found another female, and a male. she thought they looked strange and was a little frightened of them at first. but after a while they became her new family. she and a young male in her new clan became friends, and when they grew older she realized how beautiful he was. he was full of scars and one of his hands was missing, but she liked him.
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
